Thank you for your interest in our garden, Hillbark, which is in Bardsey, near Leeds. Although we are not moving house, 2017 will be our final year for opening the garden, which we began in 1992 for the National Garden Scheme. Over the last 25 years we have raised over £60,000 for the NGS, and we would like to thank all our wonderful friends, neighbours and the Yorkshire NGS team, without whose help this would not have been possible.

So the final dates for opening will be Sundays 14th May and 2nd July, from 11 'til 4.30, admission £4, children free. There will be a plant sale and teas available. Malcolm Simm and Tim Gittins

The renowned international garden photographer, Gerry Harpur has visited the garden on a number of occasions. Here are some of the images he has taken.

David Stevens, Chelsea award winning garden designer, described Hillbark as 'a large and beautifully terraced garden that drops gently through a series of impeccably detailed and planted rooms, from the formality around the house to a serene lake at the bottom of the slope. The design takes you on a voyage of ever-changing vistas that unfold as you move around the garden, a genuine work of horticultural art.'
